At HuntDocs, we take the security of your information seriously. The platform was designed from the ground up to ensure that your data—and your customers' data—is protected and private.

Data Access and Permissions

• Access is restricted by role and organization. Outfitters can only view data linked to their own account.
• All user activity is authenticated, and access to sensitive data is permission-controlled.

File and Document Protection

• Uploaded documents (e.g., waivers, photos) are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage.
• Documents are private by default and only shared when explicitly authorized by the outfitter.

Communication Security

• All data is transmitted over secure, encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Email and text messaging features follow current best practices for consent and delivery.

Credential and Account Security

• Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
• All system credentials and API keys are stored securely in protected environment variables.
• User sessions expire after periods of inactivity, and logouts are enforced on key changes.
